Hello! I’m Jenni – the 20-something gal behind this Appleton, WI food blog. I’m a Badger fan, a registered dietitian, a runner, and most importantly – a food lover.
I’ve got Mike, my husband, and our two dogs who help me behind-the-scenes. Mike does a lot of the taste testing and the dogs clean up all my floor spills. Ripley, our oldest pup is a Japanese Chin & Pekingese mix that weighs 12 pounds dripping wet. Wallaby, or WallaBeast, is an Australian Cattle Dog & lab mix. These three gents complete me.
What you’ll find here are dishes that are easy enough for everyone to tackle, no matter how pretentious they may sound. I believe that good food doesn’t have to be difficult, labor intensive, or expensive. Don’t let the titles of the dishes fool you! I’m no chef, just an amateur home cook in a tiny kitchen that loves to explore. I believe that food should be accessible and don’t bother fussing around with ingredients I can’t pronounce (or afford… or even find).
I hope you come back often to see what we’re up to.
xoxo,
j
